An Introduction to Mindray Clinical Support

Mindray solutions are designed to be user friendly, and we pride ourselves on the commitment to make your interaction with our systems easy. Our face-to-face training applications programmes provide your team with supplemental education designed to orient you with the systems or as a reference for your staff.

In-service clinical training is included at no charge at the time of installation and as post-installation refresher courses, which can be arranged through our clinical education team.

We are pleased to offer our customers the following Training Programmes.

Clinical Advanced Training Programme

The Mindray Clinical Advanced Training Programme comprises an interactive workshop, ideally away from the clinical environment, to ensure the learning process is maximised.

The workshop encourages a “hands on” experience during which delegates will develop knowledge of device features and clinical parameter application skills with assessment throughout the programme.

The Clinical Advanced Training Programme will comprise of a 6 hour study day, and is intended for Practice educators and designated key trainers and those who use the specialist equipment to a higher level than general use. It is designed to develop knowledge and skills, facilitating candidates to share best practice with clinical users within their own clinical speciality. In the interest of maximising the learning environment, the programme will accommodate a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 8 delegates. All training is expected to be facilitated using customers own Mindray systems.

One programme will be held per day.

Learning Outcomes of the Training Programme

Aim:

To develop theoretical knowledge and practical application skills relevant to the device in order to achieve a level of understanding, contributing toward safe and effective practice and optimal use.

To provide delegates with the tools and techniques required to confidently disseminate training to colleagues within their own clinical environment.

Objectives:

On completion of the training programme the attendee will achieve the following, where appropriate to the device:

Methods:

Delivery of the training programme encourages an interactive format and  includes trainer centred lecture, trainer and candidate centred practical sessions, clinical scenarios.

A blend of formal and informal assessment activities are utilised, contributing to the establishment of achieved outcomes specific to the training programme. Methods of assessment may include direct observation, Q&A, review quizzes, group work and discussion.

Clinical Intermediate Training Programme

The Mindray Clinical Intermediate  Training Programme comprises an interactive workshop, ideally away from the clinical environment, to ensure the learning process is maximised.

The workshop encourages a “hands on” experience during which delegates will develop knowledge of device features and clinical parameter application skills with assessment throughout the programme.

The Clinical Intermediate Training Programme will comprise of a 3 hour study session, designed for the attendance of Medical, Nursing and Allied Healthcare Professionals, to develop knowledge and skills, facilitating candidates to share best practice with clinical users within their own clinical speciality. In the interest of maximising the learning environment, the programme will accommodate a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 8 delegates. All training is expected to be facilitated using customers own Mindray systems.

A maximum of two training programmes will be held per day.

Clinical Basic Training Programme (& Refresher Training)

The Mindray Clinical Basic Training and Refresher Training Programmes comprise of either:

The Clinical Basic Training or Refresher Training programme will constitute of up to 1 hour of training, intended to provide an operational overview and basic understanding of the monitor and its associated parameters. The session is designed to support the attendance of Medical, Nursing and Allied Healthcare Professionals, to develop knowledge and skills, facilitating best practice within their own clinical speciality.

The Clinical Basic Training programme has been tailored (reduced training session time) for Clinical Support staff who may be expected to clinically operate the equipment and require an appreciation of routine preparation, maintenance and cleaning.

In the interest of maximising the learning environment, the programme will accommodate a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 8 delegates. All training is expected to be facilitated using customers own Mindray systems.

To acquire fundamental knowledge of safe operation and practical application relevant to the device.

Objectives:

On completion of the training programme the attendee will achieve the following, where appropriate to the device:

Methods:                

Training is delivered by means of interactive demonstration within the clinical environment.

Candidates are provided with a Basic Training Questionnaire which may be completed and utilised as an aide memoire and applied to assess individuals’ learning.
